A good installation does not happen by accident and we are mindful of the need to monitor progress and hand over areas in good time to following trades.
Our installations will:
Meet Building Control requirements
Satisfy relevant British Standards where applicable
Take into account fire strategy and Fire Officers’ requirements
Meet or exceed CQC standards particularly with regard to lighting levels, call systems and security arrangements
Be tested, commissioned and certified accordingly
Be documented and appropriate Health and Safety and Operational, Maintenance and Installation Record Manuals provided
Our installation process includes the following:
Attendances to design team meetings on a regular basis
Completed designs and schematics ready for construction use alongside a Revit model (if required)
Frequent liaison with the main contractor ahead of site start to discuss programming, manpower allocation and sequencing of works
Working site foreman leading a team. With regular repeat customers we try to ensure there are the same team of people for care operators or main contractors to maintain continuity
Full risk assessment, health and safety policies and method statements
